Rihanna set for Grammys Duet with Coldplay

Rihanna's longtime dream of performing with Coldplay has come true - the pop star will team up with the British band on stage at the Grammys next month (Feb12).

Coldplay frontman Chris Martin invited the Umbrella hitmaker to appear on the group's most recent album, Mylo Xyloto, to sing vocals on their Princess of China track.

Rihanna heaped praise on Martin's songwriting skills after the studio session, and insisted she was desperate to perform live with the rockers.They have now arranged a date to team up - at the Grammys on 12 February (12).

In a post on her Twitter.com page, Rihanna writes, “My friends Coldplay and I will be sharing the stage for a performance at this year's Annual Grammy Awards!"

The pop star is nominated for four awards at the event.

Friends and record label executives are becoming increasingly worried about Rihanna's well being after she had an alleged backstage freakout in Ireland last Friday and was hospitalized on Oct. 31 in Sweden, reports say. Allegedly, best friend Katy Perry is also concerned about Rihanna's drinking.

Star magazine reports that Perry and her husband Russell Brand have expressed their worries to Rihanna. "Katy begged Rihanna to take some time off and get therapy," a source told the magazine. "Rihanna's been running on empty. And rather than resting, she's drinking and clubbing until the early hours of the morning ... She calls Katy in tears, saying how down she is."In backstage photos of Rihanna released via Facebook, the singer holds a drink in her hand in several images.

The Barbadian pop star has been given a curfew and is on 24-hour health watch, according to The Mirror. Pop star Rihanna has listed a Beverly Hills Post Office-area home at $4.5 million, substantially less than the $6.9 million she paid two years ago.

The listing describes the house as a "major fixer" with "extensive damage from moisture and water intrusion" at the roof, windows, doors and balconies. The home's water problems are the subject of a lawsuit the singer filed this summer in Los Angeles County Superior Court.

The property will not qualify for bank financing, according to the listing, so potential buyers will need cash, a contractor and perhaps an umbrella, to borrow the title of one of Rihanna's early hits.The 8,520-square-foot, three-story contemporary includes a den, media room, breakfast area, three fireplaces, eight bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. How do you know when you’ve become a household name? Iggy Pop told us that it was when airline stewardesses began recognizing him on flights. For Ryan Adams it was when his name ended up as a clue in the New York Times crossword puzzle. For Phish, it was getting their own flavor of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream. We’re not positive, but for the always inscrutable Rihanna it means she could concoct her own flavor of Vita Coco.

The fiery Barbados native has been the face of the beverage’s national ad campaign since June, but who knew that part of the deal was they were going let her into the test kitchens to make up her own brew? But they did. Named Tropical Fruit (rather a perfect name for her, given her outfit in this weekend’s celebration), it’s a blend of "coconut water, pink guava, orange, red dragon fruit and pineapple." “It tastes so delicious and reminds me of home!” enthused the singer. “I grew up in Barbados - so when Vita Coco approached me to help develop a new flavor, I thought we should combine the natural coconut water with fresh tropical fruits - two of my favorite things,” says Rihanna. It will be packaged in a bright magenta Tetra Pak and will have Rihanna’s signature to mark the collabro, just in case you mistake it for something Madonna or Anthony Kiedas, both investors in the company, cooked up.

"Who Do I Have to Bang?" File

Last week Gwyneth Paltrow tweeted: "Who do I have to bang to get an advance copy of the new @coldplay album? I mean, really." Talking, of course, about Coldplay's as-yet-untitled fifth studio album due out on October 24.

Apparently you have to bang Jimmy Kimmel, since her hubby’s band will play two songs on Jimmy Kimmel Live tonight. Although having said that, maybe we should look at the subtext of the tweet. Why, why, why hasn't Gwenny heard it yet? Especially since, in the September issue of Elle, the actress-cum-chef-cum-singer admits that she and husband Chris Martin aren’t always a picture perfect couple. Well, they ARE that, but you know what we mean.

“Sometimes it's hard being with someone for a long time," she admits to Elle. "We go through periods that aren't all rosy. I always say, life is long and you never know what's going to happen. If, God forbid, we were ever not to be together, I respect him so much as the father of my children. Like, I made such a good choice. He’s such a good dad. You can never be relaxed or smug and think, I’ve got this thing. That’s also part of it—keeping yourself on your toes. I’m not going to take this for granted.”

As for the singing career, she tells readers not to expect collaboration with her Martin anytime soon, nor does she never ask his advice: “[He’s] a musical genius. It’s like living with Picasso, and being like, ‘Should I make a little something-something?’"

Instead she goes to some other musical geniuses about advice about what she should do about her burgeoning other talent.

“Beyoncé and Jay—they think that I should just go do it by myself,” she shares, “that I should go…in a studio and see what happens. And if it’s good, do it. And if it’s not, don’t. So that’s probably what I’ll do.”

Binge Shopping

Sometimes I think we’d all be disappointed if Courtney Love actually behaved herself. I know I would. Well that doesn’t seem likely to happen anytime soon. This week the singer was spotted shopping in Sydney, Australia, clearly in a state of inebriation, having everything to do with the fact that the upscale shop plied her with graceful goblets of white wine. Don't believe rumours that Bajan superstar Rihanna is shacking up with Canadian rapper Drake because she's rekindled her romance with an old lover from Barbados.

British newspaper The Sun reported yesterday that Rihanna, 23, who dated 26-year-old ''Lucky'' Negus Sealy just before the What's My Name singer hit the big time, had been seen dirty dancing with the same man locals refer to as "the Love God".

The newspaper said the pair had been "inseparable" since the singer arrived back home almost two weeks ago for the Bajan annual Kadooment Day festival.

The Sun claims the pair have been relaxing at Riri's villa on the flashy Sandy Lane estate.An unnamed friend was quoted as saying: "Negus has hardly left her side. He was her first true love. They've hooked up in the past when she's been back in Barbados, but now things have progressed into a proper relationship again."

The two were pictured frolicking on a beach five years ago and she reportedly went back to see Negus after her very public break-up with boyfriend Chris Brown.

Pictures and videos of the pair appeared all over the internet, showing Rihanna and Negus dirty-dancing during a parade - at some stages looking very together and sexual.

When contacted by a LIME’s representative, Daniel was very surprised. During the discussion, she halted and began to scream.

Rihanna To Perform At 'Super-Size' X Factor Bootcamp?

The 'X Factor' bosses are planning to revamp the UK show in a big fashion by holding the Boot Camp at Wembley Arena and kicked off with a performance from Rihanna.

It's thought that the new format is part of Simon Cowell's plans to make sure that the show doesn't lose any of its lustre following the departure of Cheryl Cole, Dannii Minogue and himself.

So now the boot camp part of the show has been relocated from Hammersmith Apollo to Wembley, reports The Sun.

A show insider said: "Super-sizing Boot Camp is all part of Simon Cowell's massive revamp of the show to make it better than ever." Rihanna, an 'X Factor' favourite, has reportedly been enlisted to perform during the boot camp phase and will be followed by the contestants, who will then be judged by the 'S&M' singer.

A source told the Daily Star: "[It will be] very nerve-racking for the contestants but great viewing for the audience. Who could follow Rihanna and be confident? This will definitely weed out the good from the bad."

Calvin – who was also Rihanna’s support act in Australia this year – had planned to team up with a different internationally-renowned pop star for a tour this year, but changed his mind late in the day.

The Dumfries star pulled out of his planned dates with American Katy Perry, declaring that her management team unexpectedly “moved the goalposts” when telling him he would be required to perform without any production.

The California Gurls hitmaker took to microblogging website Twitter to criticise him over his late decision to quit the tour – only for Calvin to quickly respond with his own take on what happened.

Calvin tweeted that, “trust me, you would have been more disappointed seeing the show than u are with me cancelling”.

However, he took a sly dig at Katy’s management when posting that “her show is awesome, you’ll all have an amazing time without me. (especially w/o me DJing on a cardboard box in front of a pink curtain) (sic)”.

The DJ, 27, will accompany the star on her 28-date UK tour, which stops off in Manchester, Glasgow, Liverpool and London from October until December.

The run will feature some of Rihanna's hits including Umbrella.

The singer said of the collaboration: "Calvin is the perfect fit for the Loud tour. He is going to bring something unique and fun for the fans."Calvin Harris, who has been playing DJ residencies across the summer, is set to release new single Feel So Close on 21 August.

The producer, singer/songwriter already toured with Rihanna in Australia earlier this year after releasing his second album Ready For The Weekend in 2009.

He recently said his third album would be released in 2012.

'No production'

In March he announced he wouldn't be performing on the remaining dates of Katy Perry's UK tour after saying her team had "suddenly moved the goalposts" and that he would have had to appear on stage with no production.

US singer Perry wrote on Twitter that he had cancelled his support slot in Dublin at the "last minute".

Singer Rihanna will take on the role of an FBI agent in a board game-based film, set to be released next year.

Battleship, directed by Peter Berg, sees the R&B star taking on the role of Raikes - an agent who helps the Navy defeat aliens at sea.

Although she can only be seen for split seconds - first at 1:13 minutes, then 1:50 - in the trailer, the movie is actually Rihanna's second feature film.

The What's My Name? singer had a role in the cheerleader film Bring It On: All Or Nothing, alongside Hayden Panettiere and Solange Knowles.The action role may strike many of Rihanna's fans as an odd choice given her recent controversial Man Down music video involving the violent use of a gun.

The video showed the 23-year-old firing a gun at a man's head and then fleeing the scene, leaving him dying in pool of blood at a busy train station.

There was a public outcry at the violence.

One fan wrote on twitter: "This Man Down video is violent... I really need Rihanna to get her life together."

Battleship, which is to be released on April 20 2012, also stars Liam Neeson and True Blood star Alexander Skarsgard.

The 23-year-old who is determined to make it as an actress, plays an FBI espionage agent assigned to help the navy in their mission to stop aliens attacking Earth, reported Dailmail.

“I love doing movies now. It's something I want to do more of. I just want to pick films that are wise for me and roles that I can pull off, nothing that is too big for me,” Rihanna said. The movie is an adaptation of a board game and also stars Brooklyn Decker and Taylor Kitsch.

The film, releasing May 18, 2012, follows the story of the naval fleet who are stunned when they discover an unknown object in the sea turned out to be an alien and their battle against it.

When Rihanna got onstage at the Izod Center in East Rutherford last week and sang "don’t hold back, you know I like it rough," you didn’t have to be a puritan to squirm a bit in your seat. We’ve all seen the pictures. Here was the most famous victim of domestic abuse in popular culture, skimpily dressed and singing about her taste for the tough stuff. Shouldn’t she have thought twice?I’m pretty sure she did. And unless I drew the wrong message from her racy show, I believe that she came to the conclusion that she wasn’t going to allow ex-boyfriend Chris Brown — or anybody else — to take those words out of her mouth. Rihanna has an urgent need to show the world that she is not merely a victim, that she is not afraid of men, and that she will continue to define her desires however she pleases. Her act was probably always going to toughen up and get more provocative than it was when she was Little Miss Sunshine. Her run-in with Brown’s fist has hastened the process.

Consider "Man Down," her latest single and the best and most gripping song from her 2010 "Loud" album. It returns the pop star to her native Caribbean for the first time in a while. But this is not the beach-bar reverie of "If It’s Lovin’ That You Want" or the sleek glass-bottom boat of "Music of the Sun." No, Rihanna’s narrator is coming home with a piece, and means to put a bullet in the head of the man who abused her.

Structurally, "Man Down" isn’t that different from "I Shot the Sheriff" or any number of crime-caper rap songs. She did it, she regrets it, and she swears it was in self-defense. (Her narrator even begs the judge for leniency.) It is, however, arresting to hear cold-blooded murder rhymes from a woman — especially one whose most famous song, "Umbrella," celebrates the protective power of love. Some radio programmers balked. Rihanna the victim (in "Love the Way You Lie") was suitable for heavy rotation. Rihanna the aggressor was not.

Undaunted, she decided to push it. Shot in Jamaica, the video for "Man Down" opens with a graphic depiction of the murder. This is nothing you wouldn’t see on Lifetime Television, of course, but musical artists have always been held to a higher standard. The conservative Parents Television Council, a watchdog group, called the video inexcusable and insisted that it sent the wrong message to children. Rihanna responded that she is a mixed-up 23-year-old woman who never claimed to be a role model.

But with respect to Rihanna, I think she’s being disingenuous. "Man Down" — the song and the video that accompanied it — does not seem like the work of a mixed-up woman. She knows exactly what she wants to say and, yes, she hopes that young girls are listening: Be assertive and protect yourself, because nobody is going to protect you. Nobody’s even going to sympathize for long.

She has supporting evidence. "Deuces," Brown’s vicious break-up hit (pointedly sampling Rihanna’s "Te Amo") reached No. 1 on the R&B charts and sold more than a million copies in the United States. "Man Down," a better song by a far better singer, has yet to break the Top 40. The struggle continues.

Rihanna is raising a glass with her new single, ‘Cheers (Drink to That).’ The song is infused with the tropical, island groove that she has explored on ‘Loud’ and which harks back to her upbringing in Barbados.

We love the lazy, reggae cadence she adopts when singing “Everybody put your glasses up / And I drink to that.” Expect to hear this tune bellowing at your local watering hole, dive bar or club, since it’s “cheers for the freakin’ weekend.”

Rihanna sings like she spent an entire day outside, the sun kissing her face and now she is at an outdoor bar, with her Ray-Bans on, looking for a hook up as she lets the “Jameson sink in” and reminds us to “don’t let the b—–d get you down.”The choruses are filled out by a female voice singing “Yeah, yeah,” complementing RiRi’s island style. She could change her name to Rihanna Marley with this song and no one would be surprised. And you could listen to ‘Cheers (Drink to That)’ in Wisconsin in January and it’ll instantly transport you to July at the shore. There’s also a guitar groove that anchors the song and gives it that island feel.

Rihanna also reminds us that “life is too short to sit around being miserable” and “people gonna talk whether you’re doing bad or good.” Forget arguments or getting in fights. The song lifts spirits by celebrating the consumption of spirits. It’s RiRi at her most reggae and at her least polished. She is veering off the path a little and we like it.

The song, which was produced by hip-hop duo the Runners, includes a singalong, too, lending itself to that communal, “let’s toss one back” energy of the song.

Rihanna Gets A September Vogue Cover And A Court Date

For all the predictable things that happen in the fashion industry, once in a while a total curveball will come along. Here’s one for you today: Vogue Italia has named Rihanna their “Woman of the Year.”

The magazine justified their decision saying RiRi was the “undisputed best contender to the role of queen of pop.” They went on to rave that “her career has always been based on the cunning use of sexiness and provocation.”

Honestly, we’re a bit surprised. Sexiness and and the ability to provoke may be great qualities in a pop star, but they don’t necessarily make the best case for “Woman of the Year.” Then again, the magazine also sited her independence and energy as sources of inspiration. “She has managed to cultivate her career despite the many tragedies affecting her private life: from her father’s addiction to crack … to the violence caused to her in 2009 by [her] then-boyfriend, Chris Brown,” they wrote. Which, fair enough.

But, despite her September issue (actually make that issues, Ri covers Glamour next month, too), it’s not all good news for Rihanna. In February, the singer was sued by artist David LaChapelle for allegedly copying eight scenes from a film of LaChapelle’s in her S&M video. The case is now rolling along and a pretrial date for Rihanna, her label, Def Jam, and director Melina Matsoukas has been set for August 10th in New York. It’s not looking too good for RiRi — the court has already acknowledged a number of similarities between the two videos.

LaChapelle, however, confessed to being a huge fan of the singer and said the lawsuit is “not personal,” but “strictly business.”

We have to hand it to Ms. Fenty; she is probably the only girl in the world to get a September issue and a court date in the same month — unless of course the rumors are true and Lindsay Lohan covers September’s Vanity Fair.

Leighton Meester, Linkin Park and Pharrell Williams have also lent their support by highlighting Galena's illness.

The Bailey Review of media images and their affect on children is out today – parents, it seems, are worried about the sexualisation of their children.

Parents are very concerned about the images their children see on television, in advertising and public spaces and want the Governments help to “take away the barriers that stop them from being good parents,” said Reg Bailey, Chief Executive of Christian charity Mothers Union and the leader of an independent Department of Education review in to the “commercialisation and sexualisation” of children.

But what, exactly, do they want the Government to do? For starters, the review recommends a public website, on which parents can highlight instances of child sexualisation, a move backed by Prime Minister David Cameron. Cameron also backed the review’s calls to make blocking web-based pornographic materials easier and to ban age-inappropriate public advertising in areas children frequent. The PM also proposed holding a summit meeting in October with retailers, advertisers, broadcasters, magazine editors, video games and music industry chiefs and regulators to discuss progress on these issues.

Pop star Rihanna's latest video, 'Man Down' has sparked a controversy involving explicitly violent and raunchy videos being broadcast on television, uncensored, as the Parents Television Council (PTC) appealed to the BET (Black Entertainment Television) network to ban the video. The video, premiered on BET last Tuesday, shows Rihanna murdering a man near a crowded railway station in what looks like a premeditated event. As the video progresses in flashback, Rihanna is seen sexually assaulted by the man outside a pub, from the point of view of the victim in a harrowing sequence.PTC alleged that Man Down glorified murder, and instead of telling the victims to seek help, the video encouraged victims to murder the offenders. The Council is calling for a complete ban of the clip. Though the council has been able to garner support in getting the video pulled out, BET isn't planning to budge. A BET spokesperson reportedly said that the network "has a comprehensive set of standards and guidelines that are applied to all of our content. The Rihanna 'Man Down' video complied with these guidelines and was approved for air."

Up to six members of the under 19s girls team at Roselea FC had played in a summer six-a-side competition in 2008 as "Rihanna's Rockers."

Coach Adrian Alders paid $450 for a meet-and-greet session with Rihanna after her concert in Newcastle late last month, and used the opportunity to ask the star if the team could formally register her name and trademark logo with North West Women's Football AssociationUpon receiving official permission from the singer, Mr Alders presented her with photographs of the squad, a signed shirt and a personalised Rihanna's Rockers number one team jersey.

"Rihanna was absolutely delighted when we asked her to be our team patron," Mr Alders said.

"She thought it was cool and even posted it on her facebook page."

In a conversation with Mr Alders, Rihanna said she was "honoured" to have a team named after her.

Along with those who contacted Ofcom, 1,000 viewers reportedly complained to ITV about the two guest performers' underwear-clad dance moves on the Sunday evening special.

The Daily Mail has been drumming up outrage over the Aguilera's rendition of her hit 'Burlesque' and Rihanna's version of 'What's My Name?', calling them "lewd" and quoting "horrified" parents -- while helpfully publishing large format photos of the offending routines "to show the fury they've caused".

A number of topics are explored in the lengthy, revealing conversation, which was conducted over the phone a few weeks ago while West was in a London studio working on his forthcoming album Watch the Throne — a full-length collaboration with fellow superstar Jay-Z — and Rihanna was between rehearsals for her appearance on "Saturday Night Live." They chat about fashion (Rihanna is "over the whole structured clothing, overly shoulder-padded sh--"), sexuality ("How does it feel to know that you can turn straight women gay?" West asks) and lyrics ("I think a lot of people have a misperception of me," Rihanna says. "They only see the tough, defensive, aggressive side. Ideally, she'd like to get married, but it's not a definite. "I'm just saying that whatever comes my way I'll be able to handle it," says, Rihanna, 22, who is dating Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp. "But in a perfect book, there would be marriage and kids."

She's certainly not looking to rush things. "I have a lot of other stuff to accomplish before I get to kids," says the singer, who released her fifth studio album Loud earlier this month. "So...whenever the time is right, I'll just know. I don't really plan on the age. It could be a year from now. It could be 10 years from now. Whenever is right."As for what she thinks her kids will be like, Rihanna said, "I know God will probably want me to have a daughter just so I could see what I put my mother through. But on the other hand, I really love little boys. So it would just be fly either way."

Private life aside, Rihanna insists she has no plans to ditch music if her acting career takes off. The singer Katy Perry and actor Russell Brand were married in October, and Rihanna, a good friend of Perry's did not make the wedding, saying that she was in the studio all weekend finishing up her upcoming album, Loud.

According to a new report, a source alleges that Perry and Rihanna may have had a falling out over Rihanna's absence from the wedding. Both Rihanna and Katy Perry are two of the most famous singers currently, and they have both had series of hit records.

As MTV UK reports, a source alleged to Now Magazine, that Rihanna did not make it to the wedding because "Rihanna told Katy she didn't think she should go through with it. She said she couldn't be a part of Katy's wedding since she absolutely doesn't approve." The source went on to allege: "Rihanna told Katy how she felt. She's watched her get upset, she's witnessed the effects of  the pair's arguments and seen Katy cancel the wedding twice."

the Barbados-born "Rude Boy" singer has issued a reggae-drenched version of the Yuletide classic "A Child Is Born."

The song is included in the holiday compilation Now That's What I Call Christmas! Vol. 4, which is in stores today. The collection also includes renditions of "Merry Christmas Baby" by Sheryl Crow, "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" by newly single songbird Christina Aguilera, and "Christmas Tree" by Lady Gaga, among other reinterpretations of the holiday songbook.

'Probably the cut or the style, probably not the colour though because you have to be really careful with changing your colour so often.'

Rihana’s summer tour didn’t appear to go very well. Ticket sales were poor,
dates got cancelled, and her appeal as a live draw seemed questionable. But none of this is likely to have bothered the singer, who has once again been investigated by the Smoking Gun (see here for her backstage demands).

The site has discovered that Rihanna is on a guarantee of $410,000 minimum per concert regardless of how well tickets sell, plus the right to receive 80% of gross box office receipts over $565,000. In other words, if ticket sales were good, she actually received a decent chunk over that $410,000 minimum.

It’s safe to say this makes Rihanna a very wealthy 22 year-old, but how does this place her in comparison to other stars? With a little digging, the Smoking Gun reveals that hot ticket Justin Bieber is on a mere $328,000 per concert, and Drake earns around $160,000 for his on-stage time. For a tour that was considered a flop, it seems Rihanna has done rather well for herself.

Rihanna's Loud Has 'Lots Of Island Flavor'

If the first single from Rihanna's Loud, "Only Girl (In The World)," is any indication, the "Umbrella" singer has got her groove back. And a recent report on a few other songs from her forthcoming album indicates that the album will be as "sassy, fun, flirty [and] energetic" as she promised it would be when she announced its title.

And a little bit of sex appeal, too. The track "S&M" is reportedly "the naughtiest song of all," and it features these raunchy lyrics: "I may be bad but I'm perfectly good ... There's sex in the air. After weeks of jetting around the world promoting her upcoming album, Rihanna got a nice surprise when she was joined by her boyfriend Matt Kemp in London last night.

The Bajan singer, 22, was spotted with the Los Angeles Dodgers player, 26, outside her London hotel last night after attending a party in her honour at the Sketch restaurant.

Perhaps a reflection of her romantic mood, the star opted for a ladylike floral skirt suit, nude basque and Christian Louboutin heels for her busy night out.Earlier in the evening, Rihanna treated a select group of media and music industry insiders to a playback of of her upcoming album Loud at the Mayfair eaterie.

She individually introduced five tracks called Cheers, California King Bed - a ballad evidently inspired by her long-distance romance with Kemp - What's My Name, S&M and the first single from the album - Only Girl (In The World).

Kemp jetted to the British capital to surprise his girlfriend following the Los Angeles Dodgers last game of the season against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Sunday.

"It is not just technically advanced, it is sexy looking. It comes in cool colors. It is a fun camera…. It is really easy. You take the picture and you can share right away," she says, pointing out the share button that allows you to quickly send photos to friends and family when the camera is plugged into a computer.

So what photos does Rihanna enjoy sharing? "I travel a lot and I get to see a lot of cool things and cool places and meet a lot of cool people," she tells ET. "So, it is really cool to capture those moments. Those are the moments that you want to share with your friends and family."

Rihanna always has us doing a double take when she steps out and today was no exception! While in London her tu tu skirt was reminiscent of one part Madonna (with the edgy cropped tee), one part little ballerina (with her square-toe bow shoes and socks).While I’m obsessed with pairing shoes with socks this season and really like her square-toe pumps, as adorable as she looks mixing a basic boyfriend blazer over such an extreme skirt I don’t know how easy it would be to replicate this look and pull it off. Sadly, I think this one may just be for reserved for RiRi! What do you think?

Yesterday Rihanna was spotted in London wearing a plethora of "hot" fall 2010 trends, including a long full skirt under a long coat and scrunched socks with her pumps. All she's missing is a push-up bustier top and something floral.Her streetwear is proving more palatable, if you ask us, than what she wore for her two recent music video shoots, but she's being quite bold by trying in one outfit the crinoline and the socks — two trends that may be the most difficult of the season to pull off. Because hey, life is not a Marc Jacobs runway and many chicks feel like they don't have the height or gumption to dare try either. However, all her underwear (and her privates) are well-concealed under there, and to that we say bravo!

You have to hand it to the creative writing staff at MediaTakeOut.

Only a site like that could post a picture of Rihanna with a scratch on her arm, and suddenly suggest she’s a “cutter.”

According to MediaFakeOut - as it’s also known – “Rihanna has mystery razor slashes… on her wrists!!!”The blog, which wrongly claimed last week that Rihanna was spotted at a New York club making out with Drake, today writes, “We truly hope that Rihanna’s not CUTTING HERSELF. A lot of rich and famous women do it.”

OK.

But Rihanna is NOT – repeat, NOT – a cutter, though she has a cut on her right arm.

Gossip Cop looked at a slew of pictures of the singer, and she didn’t have a single scratch on her on October 1 when she was at BBC Radio One in London, though she did have a boo boo three days later when the MediaTakeOut photo was taken.

Additionally, when we asked a source close to Rihanna about MTO’s contention that she may be a cutter, the confidante laughed it off as untrue.
